Ushering & Seating
Helps welcome attendees, guide people to their seats, manage seating arrangements, keep aisles clear, assist elderly or physically challenged attendees, and help maintain order within the auditorium.
Registration / Welcome Team
Welcomes attendees when they arrive, assists with registration/check-in, answers basic questions, directs people to the appropriate areas, and helps first-time attendees feel comfortable.
Prayer / Intercession
Supports the spiritual atmosphere of the program through prayer and intercession. Volunteers may participate in organized prayer sessions, pray for the program and attendees, and support the prayer team as directed by the coordinators.
Security / Crowd Control
Helps maintain a safe and orderly environment. This includes monitoring entrances and exits, assisting with crowd movement, responding to disturbances, and working alongside designated security personnel. For people with relevant security, military, police, or crowd-management experience, this is especially suitable.
Medical / First Aid
Provides or supports basic first aid and medical assistance during the event. This is best suited for doctors, nurses, paramedics, first-aiders, or people with appropriate medical training.
Media / Photography / Video
Captures the event through photography and video. This team may cover worship, preaching, testimonies, attendees, behind-the-scenes moments, and other important aspects of the program.
Sound / Technical
Supports the technical operation of the program, including microphones, audio equipment, mixing, playback, and troubleshooting technical issues. This is best suited for people with sound engineering or technical experience.
Lighting
Manages and supports the lighting used during the program, including altar lighting, auditorium lighting, lighting effects, and troubleshooting lighting equipment.
Stage Management
Coordinates everything happening around the stage. This may include preparing speakers, ministers, musicians, microphones, chairs, podiums, stage transitions, and ensuring that the program moves smoothly according to schedule.
Hospitality / Welfare
Takes care of the practical needs of guests, ministers, workers, and volunteers. This can include refreshments, water, hospitality areas, guest assistance, and general welfare during the event.
Logistics
Helps with the movement, organization, and coordination of equipment and materials before, during, and after the event. This can include setting up chairs, moving equipment, distributing materials, coordinating supplies, and helping different departments get what they need.
Cleaning / Sanitation
Helps keep the venue clean, organized, and hygienic before, during, and after the vigil. This may include waste management, restroom monitoring, cleaning spills, and general venue cleanliness.
Traffic / Parking
Helps manage vehicles around the venue, directs drivers to available parking areas, assists with traffic flow, and helps prevent congestion around entrances and exits.
Social Media / Communications
Helps communicate the event before and during the program. This can include creating social media content, posting updates, sharing announcements, responding to online questions, and helping communicate important information to attendees.
